Book Review #1: Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan

As the last book of the Crazy Rich Asian series, I had high hopes in reading the ending of the characters I've known to love. And I have only one thing to say about it: I loved it! Maybe there were some storylines or characters I wish were focused on more, but I have to say this book reached all my expectations and tied up everything perfectly.

This book follows our wonderful family as everyone scrambles back to Singapore to see Su Yi before she passes. What she leaves behind is a fortune, including Tyersall Park. With mupltiple other subplots, there wasn't a dull moment in this book. This book was filled with an excellent amount of drama and kept me glued to the book, wondering what could possibly happen next. There were multiple moments where secrets were revealed and problems rose and you'll be flipping to the next page eager to figure out how that character will get out of that mess.

I really enjoyed the suspense and anticipation of finding out the answers of many questions like "Who will inherit Tysersall Park?" or "Is Nick in the will?" or "Will Astrid and Charlie ever be together?". These ran through my head all throughout the book and somehow the book was able dodge them until the very end. I will admit though, even through the previous books, the amount of characters in this series is hard to keep up with. I have forgotten at many times which character is which and why they are relevant to the story. That doesn't change the fact, though, that I still very much loved reading this book. The ending and epilogue made the whole thing worth it and the character development is amazing to see. As I said, the whole things ties together perfectly and we get to see the happy ending of our beloved characters. If you haven't read the series at all, then I recommend opening this book up and giving it a chance. This series may have been published in 2013, but it is definitely still worth the read.
